历史
The Violence Against Women Prevention Program was created in 2007 through a federally
funded grant awarded to the 艾尚体育app下载 by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women.
任务
The aim of the Violence Against Women Prevention Program is to address the 防止ion
of violent 犯罪 against women on campus, particularly 家庭暴力, dating
violence, sexual assault, 和被人跟踪 and to provide services for victims of these
犯罪.
项目的目标
- Develop and implement education programs for the 防止ion of violence against women.
- Develop a comprehensive victim services program.
- Develop and implement campus policies, protocols, and services to respond to violent 犯罪 against women on campus.
- Create a community response network to address violence against women on campus.
- Inform victims of their options to pursue campus disciplinary or criminal/civil legal action against the perpetrator(s).
- 培训 UOG community to respond effectively to violence against women.
